UNS S31803 stainless steel is a Ni-enhanced duplex stainless steel which is widely used to solve common corrosion problems encountered in 300 series stainless steels. The structure of S31803 duplex stainless steel consists of austenite which is surrounded by a continuous ferrite. Under annealing situation, S31803 contains about 40-50% ferrite. It is the most widely used in the duplex stainless steel series.
